Cold Porcelain & Sugar Craft Artist Sangeeta Shah

Sangeeta Shah has been continually exploring and mastering the art of sugarcraft and cold porcelain for over 24 years. She has a passion for teaching and discovering new techniques in sugar artistry. Her portfolio consists of numerous flowers and figurines and sculptures, many of which have brought home awards. She was a Wilton certified cake decorating instructor and was honoured by being the very first Canadian in the 85 years of Wilton to get the Stellar performance & Supervisor special award in the shortest ever time of teaching. She participated in and demonstrated at various club events. for. In addition to having taught classes, a valued past CSSA (Canadian Society Of Sugar Artistry) member/board member and an ICES (International Cake Exploration Societé), and has also been noticed by the local news company in Toronto for her breathtaking 'birdhouse' cake for which she was also awarded 1st prize at an annual cake competition. In 2010, Sangeeta brought home the People's Choice Award for her Indian-inspired and magnificently detailed wedding cake at the annual cake competition. In addition, to satiating her passion for sugar artistry and cold porcelain, she continually keeps herself busy with 3D printing & now making stencils.
